Porcelain Crowns

Crowns are a wonderful and effective way to repair and strengthen badly damaged teeth. Crowns are also recommended when a tooth has had a root canal.

Crowns may vary from all “metal” to all “porcelain”. An examination by Dr. Blass will determine which one is best for your condition. A dental crown on a front tooth is desired when a good portion of tooth structure is missing on account of large old fillings or tooth decay, or tooth decay, or even the biting edge is missing. In the front of the mouth, you will want a porcelain crown that looks exactly like a tooth. If done by skilled dentist, it will be very difficult for people to tell that it isn’t real.
